The General Football Operations Management

The River Plate Football in Australia is managed by Daniel Santomil, who is 43 years old Argentinean born Coach and a fanatic River Plate supporter. Daniel played as a youth player for C.A Argentinos juniors, where he was awarded a four year scholarship at the Institute of Sport before migrating to Australia. Daniel has been football Manager in Australia for 20 years. He has two daughters and two step-daughters with his partner Mary. He obtained a degree in Physical Education and still continues working on part time basis as a Physical Education Teacher in St Peter Julian Primary School and in St Luke Primary school. Daniel also has a post-graduate degree in Business Management and a Graduate Diploma in Sport Science. He holds a State License in coaching issued by the Football Federation of Victoria where he is also recognised by Football Australia as State Instructor for his past contributions working in coaching courses. Daniel has been successfully operating the Academy since 1996

 

Our Overseas connection

Edward Santomil who is Daniels brother represents the River Plate Football in all dealings with the C.A River Plate authorities. Edward has a Degree in Computer Science and is fitness instructor. He also is the Argentinean and the South American champion in the 800 and 1500 metres in the veteran's category (2004). Edward has three grown up children and lives in Federal Capital in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Edward has been working at River Plate in the overseas affiliations department dealing with all the Club's affiliated organisations world-wide. He also oversees all the activities and employs all the necessary staff to take care of the Academy's players during their stay in Argentina.
